Beside You.
I woke up in a cold sweat, and my heart beating at twice its normal rate. I blinked a few times, while my breathing normalized, and I found myself in my own room. ’ It was just a nightmare,’ I said to myself, somewhat feeling relieved and depressed at the same time. Suddenly, my door slowly creaked as it opened, and the light from the hallway leaked into my room, and I felt my curiousity taking over my mind. “Ann, time to wake up.” a familiar voice said, gently. “I’m up, Inay.” O heard myself say, still trying register in my head that I just had a really insane nightmare. ” How are you feeling this morning, Taylor Ann?” she asked, flicking the light on - which illuminated my room, but temporarily blinded me at the same time. ” I’m okay, just a little woozy though,” I answered, suddenly feeling a little dizzy. But, through the dizzy spell, was when I noticed it. ‘Taylor Ann?’ I thought to myself. ” Maybe you should stay home today, Ann. Do you remember anything new?” my Grandmother asked, her voice sounding completely hopeful. “Uhm, could you tell me what I did remember so far?” I asked, trying NOT to start freaking out. “Do you remember anything from yesterday? Who came over?” I knew she wouldn’t buy it. ” I closed my eyes and I attempted to remember the yesterday that I didn’t know existed. But, all I saw was the stupid nightmare becoming more real that just a nightmare.

Dream Of Me.
Say Goodbye. (Prologue)
October 24th, 2008
Twenty year old, Taylor Ann Owens found herself speeding down a seemingly empty freeway at 200 km/h on the motorbike she had received for her birthday - only 2 months prior. She felt likeshe was losing complete control of her life; when all she wanted to do was forget. Except, the tears that were currently streaming down her face and the feeling that somebody was trying to rip her heart right out of her chest - just wouldn’t let her. The image of her grandmother passing away right in front of her in the hospital bed (her aunts had brought home from the hospital) was still fresh in her mind. Taylor kept it in her heart and her mind, as a reminder of how much of a bad granddaughter she was and she never deserved to be happy. She slowly shut her eyes, and images of the times she was impatient with her grandmother flipped through her mind - like some sort of book. Taylor felt her heart fill with guilt and hate, hate for herself; so much so that her grip on the accelerator became tighter - making the bike go faster. When she opened her eyes, she realized she was heading straight into one of those cement walls that seperated the 2 lanes from a ditch. She panicked and swerved - while the SUV behind her rammed into the back wheel of Taylor’s bike, sending her flying into the air.
She didn’t expect death to be so painless - until she felt herself going headfirst into the pavement, while flipping over a couple of times before landing painfully face down onto her stomach. She had enough adrenaline pumping through her body to not feel enough pain to paralyze her until she was able to push her body up to push her helmet off of her head, and turning over onto her back. Taylor opened her eyes to find herself staring at the twinkling stars in the clear night sky above her. Suddenly, feeling the long awaited surge of pain rush throughout her body - making it increasingly difficult for her to breathe. She heard the sound of her heartbeat slow; before she closed her eyes.
